Heritage Middle East to open in Abu Dhabi in December

Heritage Middle East is planned to be a meeting point for institutions and companies which lead the museology sector around the world.

It will bring fresh blood to the sector by organizing side events such as conferences etc. where leading museologists, museum designers, architects art historians, conservators and other art professionals come together.

It is planned to be a destination where all artistic and cultural activities of Arabic world are planned and the future projects are discussed.

It will be an international meeting point which aims to be the market for the actors of global museology sector and where they join different activities together.

It is an international project that plans to host more than 62 companies and institutions, and around 2.857 visitors.

AR&PA Iberian Biennial turns its focus to Cultural Tourism

This year, AR&PA Biennial for Cultural Heritage has transformed its platform to focus on Cultural Tourism.

AR-PA TURISMO CULTURAL will be held in 2024 as an evolution of the AR&PA Art and Heritage Restoration Fair, which was founded in 1998 in Valladolid.

Over these 26 years and 14 editions we have been growing gradually, adapting to the times and evolving. First, from an Art and Heritage Fair to a Heritage Restoration and Management Fair, then to a Heritage Management and Restoration Biennial incorporating new sections such as AR&PA Forum, Open by AR&PA, AR&PA For All, AR&PA Awards, AR&PA International Congress or AR&PA with the Family…, and later to the Iberian Biennial of Cultural Heritage incorporating the Portuguese partner Spira.

From 15 to 17 November 2024, AR-PA TURISMO CULTURAL 2024 is scheduled to be held at the Valladolid Fairgrounds. This event is promoted by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Junta de Castilla y León and is made up of a set of sections (AR-PA Institutions, AR-PA Business, AR-PA Forum and AR-PA Family), established progressively throughout the successive editions of AR&PA, Heritage Biennial, whose contents in this 2024 edition are increased with the incorporation of the cultural promotion and artistic creation sector, as well as the tourism sector, an economic activity and social projection in which the legacy of Cultural Heritage and the cultural and artistic offer play a significant role.

Florence Art and Restoration Fair in partnership with MIDA Crafts Fair

The 9th edition 2024 of the Salone dell’Arte e del Restauro will be held from April 25th to May 1st 2024, at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, at the same time as MIDA, the International Crafts Exhibition of Florence which welcomes 70 thousand visitors, 450 exhibitors, 34 thousand square meters every year.

The Salone del Restauro will occupy the entire Monumental Pavilion of the Fortezza da Basso where, during the week, companies, institutions, the Italian Ministry of Culture and all the national and international entities linked to the world of cultural heritage will exhibit and many events and workshops will follow one another.

The Salone is a guarantee of success and confirms itself as the flagship event in Italy, the only one that has within itself the strength of a City that is a reference in the world for Cultural Heritage.

The ability to link art, knowledge and technology makes the Salone a show of strong cultural value, underlining how the enhancement and protection of cultural heritage can represent one of the drivers of economic and social growth in our country.

MAIN EVENT: the 4th Edition of the International Conference – FLORENCE HERI-TECH – The Future of Heritage Science and Technologies (28 and 29 April) which welcomes the major researchers and scholars from all over the world, putting the spotlight on future and current issues in the sector on issues relating to innovative techniques and technologies. The City of Florence, therefore, will be the international heart of restoration and cultural and environmental heritage, as well as a meeting and debate place for experts, operators and enthusiasts of the sector from all over the world.
