Florence Art and Restoration Fair in partnership with MIDA Crafts Fair

The 9th edition 2024 of the Salone dell’Arte e del Restauro will be held from April 25th to May 1st 2024, at the Fortezza da Basso in Florence, at the same time as MIDA, the International Crafts Exhibition of Florence which welcomes 70 thousand visitors, 450 exhibitors, 34 thousand square meters every year.

The Salone del Restauro will occupy the entire Monumental Pavilion of the Fortezza da Basso where, during the week, companies, institutions, the Italian Ministry of Culture and all the national and international entities linked to the world of cultural heritage will exhibit and many events and workshops will follow one another.

The Salone is a guarantee of success and confirms itself as the flagship event in Italy, the only one that has within itself the strength of a City that is a reference in the world for Cultural Heritage.

The ability to link art, knowledge and technology makes the Salone a show of strong cultural value, underlining how the enhancement and protection of cultural heritage can represent one of the drivers of economic and social growth in our country.

MAIN EVENT: the 4th Edition of the International Conference – FLORENCE HERI-TECH – The Future of Heritage Science and Technologies (28 and 29 April) which welcomes the major researchers and scholars from all over the world, putting the spotlight on future and current issues in the sector on issues relating to innovative techniques and technologies. The City of Florence, therefore, will be the international heart of restoration and cultural and environmental heritage, as well as a meeting and debate place for experts, operators and enthusiasts of the sector from all over the world.
